Music To Remember Dinner/Concert | Saturday November 7, 2020
OPEN! Only 12 tickets left to buy. If the event must be rescheduled due to COVID-19, you can choose a refund or an entry on the new date TBA. It will be Little Peter and the Elegants bringing you terrific rock 'n' roll music with strong vocal harmonies and Steve Pettafor of the George Lake BIG Band offering you a selection of big band recordings, from many decades, when LP&E takes a break. You won't want to miss the special commentary from Steve as he introduces big band hits played through the sound system. Steve will take the mic during the band’s two 25 minute breaks and will explain the importance of his selections to the fans of big band music! It all takes place at the Port Credit Legion Br. 82 (upstairs), 35 Front St. N., in south Mississauga. An elevator is provided and reserved seating! The 20 member GLBB has decided not to perform. We are planning a wonderful evening that will begin with a delicious roast beef or vegetarian dinner. Doors upstairs will open at 6:00 pm with bar service, a plated dinner will be served at your table and LP&E will begin at 7:45 pm, delivering three 55 minutes sets. Last call at the bar will be 11:00 pm and guests will leave by 12:00 am. All safety protocols will be followed including no dancing, masks worn, physical distancing and helpful signage to remind people that we want a safe evening. Only 50 tickets will be sold for a banquet hall that comfortably seats 250. You will feel safe at this dinner/concert event! Visit the website at www.georgelakebigband.com. Little Peter and the Elegants
We are an 8-piece 50s-60s rock 'n' roll band with a focus on vocal harmonies. The band was inspired by Peter in 1973. The current lineup has been together for 8 years. We play close to 50 shows per year! We stage dance contests and the audience sings along to our easy-to-follow lyrics. Check out the video clips. Why not hire us for your next event?
