Music To Remember Dance | Saturday November 7, 2020

OPEN! Just a few tickets left to buy. Our location has changed to Oakville at the Noble Hall, 2273 Royal Windsor Dr., at Ford Drive.  Phone no. is 905-849-6416. The Province allows this banquet hall in the Halton region to meet more of our needs. You enter from the parking lot under the "2273" on the canopy and the hall is to your right on ground level. It will be Little Peter and the Elegants bringing you terrific rock 'n' roll music with strong vocal harmonies and Steve Pettafor of the George Lake BIG Band offering you a selection of big band recordings, from many decades, when LP&E takes a break. You won't want to miss the special commentary from Steve as he introduces big band hits played through the sound system. Steve will take the mic during the band’s two 25 minute breaks and will explain the importance of his selections to the fans of big band music! The 20 member GLBB has decided not to perform. We are planning a wonderful evening that will begin with a delicious roast beef or vegetarian lasagna dinner. Doors will open at 5:00 pm with bar service, a plated dinner will be served at your table after 6:00 pm and LP&E will begin around 7:00 pm, delivering three 55 minutes sets. Guests will depart by 11:00 pm. All safety protocols will be followed including no dancing, masks worn, temperature taken, physical distancing and helpful signage to remind people that we want a safe evening. OPEN! Only a few tickets left! The band is returning to The Moose Lodge, on the main floor, in Etobicoke. This will be a special evening, open to the public. It sold out last year! Tickets are $20/person and includes a sit-down roast beef or vegetarian dinner. We will follow all COVID-19 regulations. Masks will be worn when you are not seated, there is no dancing, attendance will be recorded and there is a limit of 50 guests. The address is 3753 Lake Shore Blvd. W., on the south side, just east of Brown's Line. You can park in the No Frills parking lot across the road. Doors open at 6:00pm, the hot dinner will be served at 7:00pm, with the band performing from 8:00pm to 12:00am. All safety protocols will be followed-your safety really is our concern! POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY JULY 21 2021! The band is making its debut at this popular outdoor music series, in its 5th year in Bradford, on Wednesday evenings in July. The location is the BWG Public Library & Cultural Centre-West Lawn, 425 Holland St. W., in Bradford. Our performance time is 7:00pm to 9:00pm. POSTPONED, NEW DATE TBA! The original band members are reuniting to perform the 3 songs we started with in December 1973, on the same stage! Port Credit Secondary School is celebrating 100 years as a school and there is an Alumni Talent Showcase in the auditorium Saturday night from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Over a dozen alumni acts will entertain you. The cost to enter and enjoy is $30/person with the money going to the school's scholarship fund. Hope to see lots of alumni from the 70s who remember Scott W., Nick N., Paul G., Ron B., Steve C., Gord C., Michael L. and Peter T.!
