New Year's Eve at RCL Branch 643 | Saturday December 31, 2022

NOW SOLD OUT! The band is returning to this Legion where our dances are quite popular! The address is 110 Jutland Rd., in Etobicoke. It's just north of The Queensway, west off of Islington Avenue. Tickets were $60/person and available to the public. No tickets will be sold at the door. Parking is available at the Legion and across the street in the parking lot of Holy Angels Church. Please don't park on the side of the road. There will be reserved seating and 6 chairs to a table. Doors open at 5:00pm with a cash bar and a buffet roast beef dinner at 6:00pm along with hors d'oeuvres, salad, dessert and coffee and tea. There will be a vegetarian lasagna option. We are helping celebrate the 80th Anniversary at the Ajax Legion Br. 322. It will be the band's 6th time performing here and these dances tend to sell out. The address is 111 Hunt St. in Ajax. Music To Remember | Saturday November 12, 2022

NOW SOLD OUT! It will be the George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants returning to bring you terrific music from the 30s to the 70s. Visit their website at www.georgelakebigband.com. The event will be upstairs at the Port Credit Legion Br. 82, 35 Front St. N. in south Mississauga. An elevator is available. There will be reserved seating. The upstairs doors will open at 7:00pm and then live music from 8:00pm to 12:00am with the two bands alternating sets, using two stage areas. Free individual chip bags, sandwiches, coffee and tea. The band is thrilled to be part of this 3 day Music Festival that runs September 15-17, offering live music and dancing. It is presented by Millpond Music & Entertainment Inc. We are on stage Sat Sep 17 from 3:30pm to 4:45pm. Weekend passes with camping for $100/person; book in advance. Weekend pass with no camping is $65/person. Or, a day pass is $35/person. We return for a 4th time to this community street festival along Bloor St., east and west of Royal York Rd. in Etobicoke. Our show will be on the main stage on Bloor St., at Montgomery Rd., from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. You will enjoy the 3 days of entertainment, community performances, carnival rides and lots of tasty food and beverages. It is organized by the Kingsway BIA. Burlington's Concerts in the Park | Sunday August 14, 2022

The band is returning for a 5th year to the Central Park Band Shell, 2299 New St. in Burlington for a free 90 minute concert beginning at 7:30pm. This is part of the Summer Concert Series organized by the City of Burlington. From the QEW, exit on Guelph Line, head south to New St., turn right and enter the Park using Teen Tour Way or Drury Lane. Don't forget your blanket or lawn chair! Summer in the Valley Car Show | Saturday August 13, 2022

The Downtown Dundas BIA is organizing a car show along King St. W. Bring the family as there will be classic cars, live music, shopping, food and face painting. The band will perform from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Eccles Auto Service, 121 King St. W. The classic cars will be parked along King St. W. where they can park for free. 50's 60's Rock'n For Wounded Warriors | Friday August 12, 2022

We are helping to raise money through this dance. Wounded Warriors Canada is a national mental health service provider utilizing clinical best practices and evidence-based care to create an environment of compassion, resiliency and hope for Canada's Veterans, First Responders and their families. The event will be held at RCL Branch 73, 2 Robinson Ave., in Scarborough. Doors open at 7:00pm and the last dance is at 11:30pm. The evening is part of the very successful Wheels on the Danforth Toronto Street Festival, happening the next day. Tickets for the dance are $25/person and are on sale at the Legion and through Evenbrite until August 10. There will be lots of raffle prizes and 50/50. You can reach Eventbrite at: Eventbrite.ca

Gore Park Summer Promenade | Tuesday August 2, 2022

The Downtown Hamilton BIA has invited the band back to perform outdoors for a 6th year in Gore Park, downtown Hamilton. We will be on stage from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. The Park is near James St. and King St. Check the BIA website at www.downtownhamilton.org for more details.

Summer Concert Series | Sunday July 3, 2022

 We are proud to kick-off this year's Summer Concert Series! The band returns to Port Credit Memorial Park, 32 Stavebank Rd., in Mississauga for a concert from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. It is FREE and you are encouraged to bring a folding chair or a blanket. Parking in the Library lot or the Arena lot. Washrooms are available inside Port Credit Arena. Many people remember our band drew some of the largest crowds to the Park for the concert series in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The band returns for a 5th year to this community festival in Streetsville. The festival and the band are celebrating 50 years as we both started in 1973! We will perform outside the Streetsville Legion Br. 139, 101 Church St. from 1:15pm to 2:15pm. The stage will be beside the beer tent. It is $5.00/person to enter the beer tent. Rotary Rib 'n' Roll | Saturday May 28, 2022

We perform for the first time at this popular community event in Brampton. Organized by the Rotary Club of Brampton, Rib 'n' Roll runs all weekend May 27-29. There is no entrance fee to Gage Park. Parking is under City Hall on George St. Our show is from 3:45pm to 5:00pm on Saturday May 28 on the stage inside Gage Park, 45 Main St. S., just south of Queen St. W. We return to the Kincardine Legion Br. 183 for the 9th time on two evenings! The door opens at 7:00pm and dancing from 8:00pm to 12:00am. Each night will have its own song list. Dancing for The Compass | Saturday March 26, 2022

NOW SOLD OUT! No tickets will be sold at the door. Dancing is allowed with the Province in Schedule 4 of the Roadmap! We have sold only 150 tickets to give everyone more space. This fundraiser will be held at the Port Credit Legion, Br. 82 (upstairs), 35 Front St. N. in south Mississauga. An elevator is available. Virgil Scott (vocals) and John Bride (guitar) will be part of the band at this event! Tickets were $30.00/person. To ensure everyone's safety we will: check for proof of vaccines and photo ID at the entrance, ask people to wear masks when they are not seated, allow individuals to decide to wear a mask or not wear a mask when they are dancing, offer reserved seating at the tables with names on the table card, arrange safe seating at the tables-up to 8 chairs per table, with a space between groups. There is a medical grade HEPA filter air purifier in the upper hall with some open windows as a source of outside air exchange.
