PCSS 100th Reunion | Saturday May 4, 2024
The band is returning to the stage where it made its debut in December 1973! Some original members will be in the band's line-up. This is all part of Port Credit Secondary School celebrating 100 (104) years as a school at 70 Mineola Rd. E. in Mississauga. The Alumni Talent Show will be in the auditorium from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. The band returns to this Ribfest, performing on Sunday May 26 from 2:15pm to 5:00pm. The location of the 3-day Ribfest is Ajax Downs Casino at 50 Alexander's Crossing, off of Kingston Rd. E. in Ajax. You will enjoy the live music, vendors, Reptillia Zoo, a Carnival, rib vendors and food trucks. Free entry and donations are welcomed at the gate.

Burlington's Concerts in the Park | Sunday August 18, 2024
The band is returning for a 6th year to the Central Park Band Shell, 2299 New St. in Burlington for a free 90 minute concert beginning at 7:00pm. This is part of the Summer Concert Series organized by the City of Burlington. From the QEW, exit on Guelph Line, head south to New St., turn right and enter the Park using Teen Tour Way or Drury Lane. Don't forget your blanket or lawn chair! New location! We are moving this successful event to Le Treport Wedding and Convention Centre,1075 Queensway East in Mississauga. It is just east of Cawthra Road, on the north side. It will be the George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants returning to bring you terrific music from the 30s to the 70s. Visit their website at www.georgelakebigband.com. You are invited to the Canadiana Restaurant & Banquet Hall, 5230 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (Six Points Plaza). We have reserved the attractive banquet hall located on the lower level, accessible by 14 wide, carpeted stairs. Doors will open at 5:30pm with a bar taking cash, credit or debit. The buffet will open at 6:00pm offering you many choices: garden salad, Greek salad, pasta salad; then sandwiches and wraps including veggie wraps, roast beef, roast turkey, tuna, egg salad, corned beef; then on to fruit: watermelon, honeydew melon, grapes, strawberries; then over to pastries: tarts, eclairs, mini cakes, mini cheesecakes and cannoli. Spring Swing Dance Extravaganza | Friday April 12, 2024
The Toronto Swing Dance Society has invited the band to return for a special dance. Open to the public! The band will play from 8:00pm to 11:00pm with a DJ on the breaks, with dance styles ranging from East Coast Swing to West Coast Swing and even a little Ballroom, Hustle and Country 2Step. $5.00 for TSDS members and $10.00 for everyone else. It will take place at Beverley Halls, 206 Beverley St. (upstairs) in Toronto. Founded in 1989, TSDS is Canada’s longest-running and largest Swing Dance group. It is a not-for-profit community organization, run entirely by dedicated and unpaid volunteers.

The band is returning to the RC Legion, Br. 36 in the Town of Dundas, for a 9th year celebrating Valentine's Day. The Legion offers a large dance floor. Everyone is welcome. We will be upstairs and an elevator is available. The Legion is located at 280 King St. W. in Dundas, near Hamilton. Snacks (finger food) will be provided.
