New Year's Eve at Fort Coulonge, QC | Sunday December 31, 2017

The band is returning to the Pontiac region of Quebec where we were part of successful dances in October 2015 and April 2016. We will again perform in the Pontiac Conference Centre and you will enjoy the sit-down four course dinner. Tickets are $65/person and are now on sale. This is the largest Centre in the region and hosts many weddings and corporate events. It is attached to the beautiful Spruceholme Inn, built in 1875 and boasts a restaurant-Bryson's Bistro-that can seat 84. Christmas 50s/60s | Dance Saturday December 16, 2017

The band has been invited to perform at RCL Branch 643 named after Flight Lieutenant David Hornell VC. The address is 110 Jutland Rd., in Etobicoke. We expect many of the people who enjoyed the dances at Branch 3 will want to attend. Doors open at 5:00pm, hot turkey dinner at 6:00pm and dancing from 8:00pm to 12:00am. It will be the George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants bringing you terrific music from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. Tickets are on sale now at $25/person, $30 at the door. 91st Anniversary Dance | Friday November 3, 2017

We have been asked to return to the Dundas Legion, Br. 36 in the Town of Dundas, near Hamilton. It will celebrate the 91 years of service the Dundas Legion has provided to so many people. Everyone is welcome. Doors open at 7:30pm and the band will play from 8:00pm to 12:00am. Tickets are $25 and a late night light buffet will be provided. Tables of 10 may be reserved. The band is returning to the Square One Older Adult Centre for a Final Dance as the OAC is moving! There will be a hot and cold lunch buffet, coffee, tea and dessert. A  large dance floor and the band on a raised stage. An elevator is available. The event is from 12:30pm to 4:00pm. Tickets are $17/SOOAC members and $20/guests (all ages). We return for a third dance with the Halton Dance Party at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1494 Wallace Rd. in Oakville, near Third Line and Speers Rd. Open to singles, couples and groups! Feel free to park in one of the company lots around the Hall. Dress is semi-casual to swanky. There will be a 50/50 draw and dance prizes. Bring extra loonies and toonies and your lonely fivers! The band has been asked to return to Celebration Square where we last performed in 2013. I hope you have enjoyed the video! We hit the stage Friday night from 6:30 to 8:30. Now in its 17th year, this Ribfest is organized by the Rotary Clubs of Mississauga and Mississauga West. This family-focused event offers beef and pork ribs, chicken and much more. Bowmanville Concerts in the Park | Thursday July 6, 2017

We are returning for a 7th year! We invite you, your family and friends to join us in Rotary Park at 194 Queen Street in Bowmanville. It is a beautiful park with the band performing under the gazebo. Concerts are free to the general public and held, rain or shine, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Free admission with drinks and snacks available for purchase. Proudly presented for the 6th year by Oakville Trafalgar Rotary and it's a major fundraiser for the club. The band performs from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Check out the CANADA 150 tent and much more. This spectacular event brings families and individuals together to celebrate and to have fun. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy. The Downtown Hamilton BIA will be Celebrating Canada Coast to Coast right in Gore Park. Festivities will kick off on June 15th in the evening with a community picnic.  Gore Park will be packed full of activities celebrating Canada on June 16th and 17th! We are happy to return to Streetsville where we performed at this popular Festival in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015. The band is on the main stage from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. NOW SOLD OUT! Call Marlene with questions at 416-720-6454. This will be a special evening for the band performing very close to the Branch 3 Legion where many successful dinner/dances were held. We are using the Moose Lodge at 3753 Lake Shore Blvd. W.; it can be a reunion of many of the Branch 3 friends! Located just east of Brown's Line, on the south side of Lake Shore, you can park in the No Frills parking lot across the road. Doors open at 6:30, a roast beef dinner will be served at 7:00 with dancing to follow from 8:00 to 12:00. Tickets were $20 for the dinner/dance and $10 for the dance only. Fewer than 14 tickets left! The band is returning for the 9th Annual Fundraiser, in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, hosted by Hands and Hearts for Africa. It will be held in the lower gym at Richmond Hill United Church, 10201 Yonge Street, in Richmond Hill. The objective is to raise money to support programming for African AIDS orphans and their grandmothers.
